Dearest FAHAD and all of my beloved Offscreen-ers!
I can’t tell you enough how proud of you all I am and how absolutely magnificent your artwork and films have been. It leaves me breathless. Keep living the adventure and make sure to enjoy the beauty and tranquility of the ocean while you have the chance (wiggle your toes in the sand a bit and take a deep dive in, for this land-locked mermaid!).
Sounds like you’re looking for the quote? Start it off now, you know how it goes… :)
“Surely it is obvious enough, if one looks at the whole world, that it is becoming daily more cultivated and more fully peopled…
All places are now accessible, all are well known… What most frequently meets our view is our teeming population: our numbers are burdensome to the world, which can hardly supply us from its natural elements; our wants grow more and more keen, and our complaints more bitter….whilst Nature fails in affording us her usual sustenance.
Pestilence and famine and wars and earthquakes have to be regarded as a remedy for nations, as the means of pruning the luxuriance of the human race. ”
-Tertullian, from De Anima, circa 203 CE
p.s. LEAVING FOR ANTARCTICA IN LESS THAN 24 HOURS!!!! When you get back, follow the adventure at www.iae5.com. See you all soon!

Fahad, you look so at home on the beach and both you and radhika and the others are obviously having the most amazing time. This is an experience which will be with you for the rest of your lives - use it well.
