The Offscreen Student Expedition covers a variety of Citizenship themes in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.

General advice and resources on implementing Global Citizenship can be found at Citizenship Education: the global dimension . Resources from Day 11 will also be particularly helpful, when the pupils will be working on a joint citizenship mural with young Omani students.

The resources can also be used in teaching about media (see Unit 09: The significance of the media in society comparing the representation of the Middle East in the mainstream media with the views of the students on the expedition.
