My day in Plashet School.. GREAT!
I wasn’t so surprised when I went around the pashet school that day and saw the
classes and libraries because I saw such schools before in the English T.V shows when I was in my country ,I noticed lots of difference between our school and theirs such as the size of the buildings ,, of course pashet is bigger than our school also the colours that are used to paint the walls and ground .. I really liked having many nice colours in their school while we only have limited colours in ours which I think that it affects students and make them more excited and happy to study also to be creative, these differences happened between both schools because we are not the same in the number of students or even the weather of the both countries.
I liked that they care a lot about art and encourage their artist students by having more than one art room in the school also giving them lots of chances like participating in competitions and stuff like this.
The funny thing that I heard that day is the name of their head teacher because it was ( Bushra) which means a good new to hear (singular) in Arabic while my name is ( Bashayer) which means good news ( more than one) plural , when I told her that she laughed and I realised that she`s such a great cheerful and nice woman with a really hard mission to do to mange a big multy cultures school. We also had the chance to ask her few curious questions like what would you do if some of your students argued about a religious issue she answered that she would let them think about what they said and then to let them talk to each other again politely.
Wherever we were walking in their school the students were welcoming us and I really felt like I were in my school with my friends back home cause many of them were putting scarf over their head and being very kind and just simple with us.
