I am an artist and a teacher. I have enormous energy and passion for my work with Offscreen, because it allows me to pursue my vocation as an educator while still being creative.

I believe in a better world and I believe in working with young people to achieve this. Sometimes I am too passionate, which can get me into trouble. When I work hard, I work really hard but when a project is finished I can be quite lazy.

I travel a lot with my work and have made friends with people from many backgrounds. I think it is important to try and see things from other people’s point of view in order not to be prejudice or judgemental.

My mother is Norwegian and my father is English. I love the cold and skiing and being in the mountains but I spend more and more time in the desert!

I spent my childhood living in different countries throughout the Middle East including Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, UAE, and Oman. More recently I lived in Damascus, Syria for three years, traveling regularly to Jordan, Egypt and Lebanon.

I like playing sport and love an adventure. Driving the Offscreen truck to Scotland should be a good adventure!

I am an art teacher at Isa Town Secondary Girls School. I am a practicing artist working with oils, acrylics and collage. I am a member of the Bahrain Art Society and Rasruman Pioneers Art Studio.

I always liked arts and cultures from different parts of the world and like to study about art and history topics.

I work closely with my students to encourage them to open their eyes and minds to the world and connect themselves with people to share knowledge and friendship.
