Exhausted Expedition Leaders
Where are the videos?
Hello Everyone,
As if Sunday was not emotional enough, I had a little accident with my hard drive to top the day off. I have lost much of the video footage from the expedition as the drive has died. There is a magic man who should be able to get it all back but unfortunately this will take time. I will do what i can as i have some of the footage on the cameras but the final film and the dvd of all the daily films will take at least 2 weeks. Please be patient, no one is more upset about this than me. love Barny

5 AM again.. We’ve been used to wake up early and to do many things, to accept many things as well… We must to be used now to accept that new person who lives inside us… A person painted by the offscreen’s fingers , strong, kind, smart, who can communicate easiely with others. So 5 AM we leaved wales, and we went to Eton college, we walked into the first classroom in the world ( as a student and a teenager, we know that it’s a place that can make you happier).. No sincerely it was an interresting place, a strong building, built in 1400, and it stills strong… What I realy can’t forget the painting in the chapple..It was made by fn it our artists, and coverred with white for hundreds of years , and they destruct part of it ( the men’s side), and they discovered the rest of it later… It will maybe be my last words, so i want to say goodbye to the UK peopole, i know that I will leave but a part of my heart will stay here with all the kind peopole of Scotland, London, Wales… My heart will stay here because i trust you all.. A part of my soul will be with Jamie, Stephen, Barney, Anu, Aya, Roberts, Janna… ( My family in the UK)… I will take with me that new person that I gain……..
Thank you all.
Mohammed D - Town of Books

Wales… The town of books … It was the most interresting place after Scotland, because I’m realy interrested in Litterature, and I was watching for the first time that I will touch the english litterature.. The most important thing was the time that we spend at the globe center, we met there 8 british students and we worked together on making covers for our sketch books, the point that it was important because it was an other way to know more about the UK… We saw the Uk in their eyes, and they saw it in ours, and the same for the middle east…
And finaly i’d like to thanks MRS Ania…. I love your collage.

The Storyteller (Rob Soldat) - by Jawahir
We were in a beautiful ti-bi in the green field near the house that we live in and Robert ” a story teller” was with us in the ti-bi. He made an interview with us for the BBC radio. He asked us about the offscreen project and how did we enjoyed our trip in the different countries in UK. After that he started to tell us wonderful stories. The stories were short but we enjoyed them very very much. He said that the stories are traditional but each story teller has to use his own way of telling these stories. We all listen to him carefully because he was very good.
Hay on Wye - Aysha’s blog
Hye on wye ! What a beautiful country. When we first arrived there my first impression was how beautiful and quite this place is. We went a house in a farm, surrounded by sheeps and flowers and such a nice things. The day after we woke up in the morning and start on doing our art work, after a very serious discussion about it. Then we went to the black hills and start on doing these funny things together and Barny kept on filming us and laugh at us. It was really nice to step up on the top and see these colorful views. Its beautiful when you see all kind of green colours. Its just makes you feel free and enjoying the beauty of life. After that we went for the first time for me canoeing it was on the wye river. Juliet, the woman who took us to the place where we took the canoes and wear the life jackets. As soon as we got there everyone start to get into the canoe and start pushing the paddle forwards and backwards. It was so much fun, all of us were laughing at each other. It was a bit difficult but we became very good at it. I just hope I can do this some other time because I really had fun on doing it.
