What matters to young people nowadays are many things, they could be good and they could be bad, from music to peace to love and everything you feel, see and hear which all equal your senses! Without your senses you cannot do what matters to you most, so I decided to go with the classic “Can’t see, Can’t hear and Can’t talk” Modeling are both my younger sisters Haya and Muneerah. The photos were taken and edited by me. Enjoy.

Day one was the longest day in human history. Jena, Fahad, and I arrived at Kuwait airways at 2AM sharp; from there we took the 4AM flight to Abu Dhabi. Our airplane landed at about 6:30AM in Abu Dhabi; there we waited until 1PM to board our flight to London. While “hanging out” in Abu Dhabi we worked hard to find ways to entertain ourselves, for example we went to several free internet stations and set them to the expedition website. We also tried asking random people if they were members of the other teams, this turned out to be a good thing when we finally met up with team Pakistan and then team Qatar.
At 6PM all teams landed in London and were met in the airport by the lovely Tahira, shortly followed by the lovely Kate. From there the team made its way to the Queen Mary University to settle in and were introduced to Jamie, Stephen, and Sarah.
By them time our heads finally hit our pillows our minds were long gone.

The team arrives in the UK and we get to meet them for the first time. They have been drawn from thousands of applicants to represent the young people of Pakistan and develop as role models. At the beginning of the expedition we ask them what really matters.
During the next two week we will be exploring these issues. Welcome to the journey!
