Political Debate

Today is simply defined as the highlight of my summer to me!
It was amazing because everything we did, I loved! From politics to debates, I didn’t want today to end at all, it was exciting to me and also very beneficial.

Going to the house of parliament was the best part of today because it gave me a taste of the future I want to live, and showed me how it could be like for me in a few years, but what really interested me today and what I cannot forget was something which we can call the ” enemies” of the house of Parliament, the peace village where people protest against rules and laws being made and what an old man called Brian had to say, he said “Let’s stick to the biggest issues should we? We are here because Britain, America and this country called Israel are shitting over the whole world” and also said “I’m a bit angry because my evil country has been murdering people forever and it’s not suppose to matter” I can never forget his face as he talked because it seemed like all the anger of the many years of silence he spent before doing what he was doing came out in that moment and I could actually feel it.

To conclude, Seeing what I saw today and doing what I did gave me a broader idea about politics and made me more committed to studying it and making a difference in the world and make sure no one gets angry!

Reem at the Parliment.

Today went to the Parliment and we had asked a politian lady some questions that she had answered them indirectly which made us little confused. But I learned that’s the way that politics “APs” communicate with citizen or politics indirectly. But actually I asked the AP “Heather Weeley” About what is it likes to be a politic lady in the UK Perlman?

And is your voice is heard as well as the politic men?

And she answered: it’s not about clothing or Looking or the gender!

It’s about personality and being confident.

Which I totally agree I think if you are confident and outspoken and love to debate and share your opinion with others and follow  your dreams you are qualified to be a politic.

Also I saw the debate about UK issues and the other country participated and it was very interesting debate. We talked about raises, genders, religions and politicians

So, I had a very lovely time and a lot of useful information that I learned from and I’m interested to have it again.
