Day 08: Art day at Yorkshire Sculpture Park

Liadin Cooke, a local artist, showed us round some of the famous sculptures at Yorkshire Sculpture Park, before we had the opportunity to make some of our own work.

Day 08: What colour is humanity?

In this episode, the team take a creative approach to the relationship between society and the individual. They travel to Yorkshire Sculpture to meet artist Liadin Cook.

Liadin takes them on a tour of the park to see how other sculptors have responded to the themes of humanity and society. She will then lead them in a workshop where the team will work in small groups to create their own sculpture.

Liadin’s focus will be on using everyday materials, so you can have a go yourself.

Wall building

I had a great day , built a wall and met a new people . . . When I go back to home I will make my small wall to BBQ on top of it , it was amazing experience I hope I do it again , and at the end of the day I drew about it and I really had a really fantastic time . . .
