Yasmin Al Kurdi, Jordan, Filmmaker
I am Yasmin Al Kurdi I live in Amman, Jordan. I am 16 years old and about to be 17. As the 21st Century generation in our country, we have lots of dreams. We do have the ordinary teenagers’ dreams. We all want to be famous, rich and with high educational degrees. We want to live happily and to be free from all that keeps our lives being complicated or without a meaning. We have fear of older people controlling our lives and stopping our dreams from becoming true. We fear of not having the proper resources for us. Mostly fear of people who look down on us and our dream to make it feel unimportant and our dream meaningless.
