Offscreen ran two workshop tents as part of the British Library’s ‘Sacred Ways’ event, a day of arts and performances inspired by the Jewish, Christian and Muslim faiths. With a focus on the shared symbols of all three religions, international artists including Aziz Al-Naib, Rashad Selim, Ashia Oozeer and Adam & Latifah Williamson worked with the general public to create a series of artworks. Finished artworks included an illustrated map of old Jerusalem, a circular path of sacred symbols and embossed metal reliefs used to decorate three large sculptures in the shape of a boat, a minaret and a tree.
