As part of a project on journeys, students undertook a two part workshop about the great pilgrimage to Mecca in Saudi Arabia (also know as the Hajj), which Muslims make as one of the Five Pillars of Islam.
The workshop focused on exploring the diversity and richness of life in the Middle East, with a specific focus on Islamic art. Students were also encouraged to question stereotypes and misrepresentation from the region.
