Students researched computer games to inspire a variety of maze environments. Computer games such as Prince of Persia inspired a Middle East maze. Each student made one section of the maze, which twisted and turned from table to table and was ultimately used as a boardgame around the classroom. Students making the Middle East section brought in their own resources and made 3-D pyramids, stand up bedouin tents, felt palm trees, paths of Islamic geometry, sphinx facades, a River Nile and a Tower of Babel.
